Re: Sad and shocking news

Dan Haggerty aka Grizzly Adams died on 15 January. I never watched that TV show but did know about it.

Real sad news about Frey. Eagles were, and still are, a favorite band.

Alan Rickman Dies at age 69

Also Love, Actually which also has a bunch of other big names in UK movie making.

I always liked the characters he played. Very versatile.

Apparently it happened or did not happen in Brazil.

Re: Doctor Who

Yep, those Weeping Angels give me the creeps.
Those destroyed-not destroyed-destroyed-not destroyed-destroyed-not destroyed etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum not so much scary but just a bit annoying.

I still can not get into the current Doctor.

Someone mentioned that Chris Squire, the bass player and one of the founding members, had died. I had not heard about that and did some research and found that...

Re: Hoyoung Lee’s Concept Printer

That looks neat at first, but you would not want to use that thing for any kind of legal documents. I really fail to see any kind of benifit other than being able to erase mistakes and then reuse the paper to print with corrected text. A careful preview before sending the document to print would tak...

Re: The Most Metal Deaths In Middle-earth

You are welcome, shireling, and we know where you can get The Silmarillion at quite a bargain. ;) The first couple of times I read The Silmarillion was not very fun.
