You can see how proud Glenn is of his son (Deacon was about 16 at the time these videos were filmed). :)

Re: The Ivy Bush - General Chat

It's so good to hear from you. You don't sound all that convinced that giving Master Timmy his own laptop will let you have yours ;) ; the attraction is that you're working on it and not paying attention to him - but you know that  . Yeah, I know   The temperatures are finally gettin...

Re: What Music Are You Listening to?

I finally found these on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmolOw2WUCg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfOwBFRGvNw I miss him. Dearly. As a singer, as a person..  I've seen his son following his footsteps and performing with the Eagles. If anybody can do it, he can, though he has a...

Re: The Ivy Bush - General Chat

Hello again! Sorry for having been so quiet. I wanted to go online during my holidays, but all I managed was taking pictures of the Great Work Disturber lying across my laptop, refusing to move and keeping me away... Been off work for two weeks, managed to get my tax return done, but not much more. ...

Re: The Ivy Bush - General Chat

Happy belated 4th of July, nonetheless. :bday: :downapint: There's a lot going on here as well. I feel like we might have our current government for not much longer, there's too much friction in this coalition. To be honest - a lot of old men are having enough of a woman telling them what they...

Re: The Ivy Bush - General Chat

Did your mom find that food had a metallic taste to it? If she did, how long did it last?

I remember her saying that she lost her appetite because of the food tasting metallic (and hospital food tasting the same every day), but it didn't last that long once she returned home.

He's allowed to stay at home during the treatment??

My Mom had the same treatment a couple of years ago. She was practically locked away in a Special ward at the hospital for 7 days. Wenn weren't even allowed to visit her.

Re: The Ivy Bush - General Chat

It should work now! At least I hope so. Flickr and I have yet to get used to each other. Btw, Paddy, how do you say "German potato salad" in German? Is there such a thing in Germany, or do I have 10 cans in my pantry of sliced potatoes in a vinaigrette, with parsley and ham bits, that are ...

Re: The Ivy Bush - General Chat

Hello once again! I'm so stressed out, I could do with a month-long holiday and it wouldn't be enough. Just to let you know I'm around - I just arrived home from work - and when I switch on my laptop there's a certain cat who jumps right up and places his butt on the keyboard. Took me half an hour t...

Re: The Ivy Bush - General Chat

Hello Ladies, and a happy belated birthday to you, Allegra! :bday:  Yes, I'm training a new colleague, and so far, things are working out well. Although it's in times like these when I realize the true scale of my work. She's been with us since early April, and we've barely scratched t...

Meanwhile, we've been back to Season Ecclestone and re-integrated into David Tennant 2 weeks ago. I'm taking the opportunity to watch again.

*waves hello*
I'm here! Sorry for the absence, I'm training a new colleague and it means 14-hour-days at the office for me. I'm working on a long post, but it may take some more days!

Re: The Ivy Bush - General Chat

Hello again! I'm back at work, though I'm still not feeling well. But my colleague has handed in her notice and is on sick leave for the rest of her remaining time. :( I'll tell you more as soon as I fell well enough to come back and post! I feel like I'm on the verge to a pneumonia and I try my bes...
