Re: Site Name

I'm rather falling in love with "Remember the Balrog"...LOTR is on TBS this weekend and you go through Gandalf's battle with the thing twice (TT was on last night). And then this morning, the episode of "Clean House" where Trish is talking the homeowner into putting his huge balr...

Re: Forum layout

I like Remember the Balrog, too, but I don't think we have to remove Tolkien completely if it turns out if most of us like the result:

Rings to Bath leths
Rivendell & Beyond
Ranger Blades
Raiders of Brie - sorry, I'm hungry

Re: Site Graphics/Theme

I tried this: On the tool bar where it says, VIEW - left click and scroll down to ZOOM. Slide over to the right and left click on ZOOM IN. Keep doing it until it's the size you want. Our old computer didn't have the capacity to do this, and since we bought this one, size on the monitor isn't an issu...

Re: Fringe

:) Not that I know of, though there's probably a fansite where somebody's thought of this. Oh yeah, the ice cream, and the ultimate root beer float. I am so looking forward to the Peter-esque episode tonight!

Re: Fringe

I love it too. Walter's so lovably quirky...but then I don't have to deal with him either. I want a tee-shirt with the ten things I've learned from him, like "You've been kidnapped - of course you need crepes!"

Oh, those both sound so good! And the casserole would really be terrific the next morning right out of the fridge (see my breakfast post :D)

Re: What do you usually eat for breakfast?

I love cold leftovers! Especially chinese, pizza and pasta with a warm coke...though sometimes I am in the mood for Taco Bell but there's no such thing as leftover Taco Bell, at least not in my house. They're all high in the four food groups - salt, starch, grease and wilted veggies - and because it...

Re: Star Wars: Original Trilogy

That's okay :D. I loved it for the Taun-tauns (which smell worse inside than out), the battle on Hoth, and the family revelations of L, L and DV. Luke's training by Yoda and the repartee between Leia & Han were things I especially liked.

Re: Site Name

I was thinking about what Cassie said, about how much the word ringbearer summed us up and tried to think of some way to connect what we were with where we're going, like maybe "Dwarf Star"? It's an actual celestial entity, but I haven't found anybody else using it for a purpose like ours ...

Re: Star Wars: Original Trilogy

Saw it a total of 75 times in theater, but more times for SW:ESB than the other two. It's still my favorite of the original trilogy.

margarath wrote:I do think that the Original trilogy is better than the new ones, but nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed episode 3, and how it ties the whole thing up. The last half hour of ep3 makes up for the rest of 1, 2 and 3.

That's how I feel, too.
