Face Off, So You Think You Can Dance, Bunheads, Grimm, Hawaii 5-0, Criminal Minds, American Pickers
Staring at the blank page before you, open up the dirty window, let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find. Today is where your book begins, the rest is still UNWRITTEN...

I love Face Off!!!! I'm amazed by the designs they come up with - even the ones the judges don't think are any good!!!.

Btw, glad to see you! :D

It's like Project Runway, or Top Chef where they gather a group of rising makeup/prosthetic artists and give them challenges. One person a week gets eliminated from the gang for shoddy work, the best at one thing or another gets immunity for the next challenge and the ultimate winner will get something really, really good :D.

It's on Sy-Fy Channel in the States. And it's up on YouTube (I just checked.)

Yes, I watch Elementary and enjoy it. Too bad all of the networks pre-empt or move their shows around so much. You get in the habit of watching a show then it is not there anymore for a while. Very idiotic on the part of the network executives.

I'm glad you like it :) . It's my favorite show this season, before Person of Interest.

A few I watch regularly...
  • Sons of Anarchy
  • Elementary
  • How I Met Your Mother (though it's long in the tooth and I agree it needs to end)
  • Modern Family
  • Futurama
  • Homeland
  • Dr Who
  • Burn Notice (it's wrapped up after 5 seasons)
  • Law & Order SVU (Still stick with this one)

My 'watch occasionally' list is:
  • NCIS (Used to not miss it, but it's run a couple seasons too long, and with Cote de Pablo now gone there is very little incentive to tune in)
  • Big Bang theory (will tune in on a rerun if nothing else catches my fancy)
  • Jamie Oliver's 15 minute & 30 minute meals
Just a sample off the top of my head this listing.

The Good Wife (a real shot of adrenalin came into this season, what with the flight of the Fourth-Years, and the breakup of Lockheart-Gardener.)

Masterpiece Theatre (been a favorite of mine since the '70s.)

Person of Interest (something for geeks and badasses, both.)

Elementary (smartly written, with imaginative shout outs to the literary works - Silver Blaze popped up in this past week's episode.)

Doctor Who (the grand old man of scifi; turns 50 this year *squee*.)

Here are the TV shows currently being watched sometimes:
Bones - until they bring back that genius criminal story arc. They killed him off, but set it up to renew when they need another season ending cliff hanger.
Antiques Road Show - usually on repeats if the regular time interferes with another show
Sleepy Hollow - but not for long because it is getting tedious
Castle - idiotic yet compelling
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - until it gets into a rut like it will eventually
Person of Interest - still very interesting, but they should get rid of Shaw.
Arrow - campy, but the flash backs are getting tedious.
The Big Bang Theory - starting to show its age.
Elementary - always entertaining (the milking a moose statement last night got me right in the funnybone  )
Grimm - almost gave up on this one since they decided to not start it up again for so long.
Haven - when it is on during its short runs and nothing happening Friday nights.
Once Upon A Time - not for much longer. That Neverland story arc is annoying as h-e-double hockey sticks.
Blue Bloods - when Haven is not on since they are in the same time slot.
The Walking Dead - during its short runs
Downton Abbey - when it is on, but not a big priority
Doctor Who - when it is on, but not a big priority
Doc Martin - when it is on, but not a big priority
Seems like a lot to me, but Elementary and Person Of Interest are the only two shows I try not to miss. Most of the time I have something else to do, or I forget a show is on. The forgetting is due to the fact that the networks delay the startup and the interest is lost, or they move the show around to different time slots so the interest is lost, or they pre-empt the shows so what ever interest was regained gets lost. I usually form a habit of tuning in at a certain time on a certain day to watch a show, but the networks jumble things up so much anymore that when a show is finally on I have already started doing something else and any interest in the show is lost or severly depleted.

Yeah, I forgot about The Good Wife. Watched the first season, mostly watched the 2nd, kinda watched the 3rd, and haven't watched the 4th as yet. I watched a few episodes of Sleepy Hollow, but it didn't keep my interest. Watched the Game of Thrones series as far as its gone, and The Vikings, but these were mini-series.

I can't get Game of Thrones on my cable, and I really wish I could - so disappointing. And I forgot Sleepy Hollow, since it's finished for the season???? I liked it, and don't want it to end there.

Vikings is another one I liked.
