Anna Karenina

Postby shireling » Sun Sep 09, 2012 11:38 am

It's due in theatres November 16th, starring Keira Knightly and Jude Law. It's one of my favorites...a bit off-topic but my grey cat, Kess, is saying, "hello" over and over . I have no idea what's going on...maybe she's calling me?

Hello back, Kess!

Yes, I'm looking forward to that one, too. Should be interesting. I very much liked the 1998 version starring Sophie Marceau and Sean Bean, it's quite true to the book. I also read the book, though it took me quite a while to get through it

I read it, too. In fact, I bought that, "War & Peace" and "Crime & Punishment" to read while I was pregnant. I have no idea why I did that now  - seemed like a peach at the time.

Sean Bean, :bad: ? Hmmmmmmmm....that I would like to see.

Nothing against a bit of "light reading" while you were pregnant
