Probably better quality special effects, especially when it comes to lip syncing the puppet characters (Ludo, Hoggle, Sir Dydimys), and definitely making the goblins more scary and realistic. Let's face it, the battle for Goblin City was down-right snoresville silly.
Don't get me wrong! I love it as is, and I know the special effects were amazing in their day, but I feel like they were trying to walk a tightrope... Dark and scary -- Muppets for grown-ups -- on one side, but not too scary for the kids on the other.
Staring at the blank page before you, open up the dirty window, let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find. Today is where your book begins, the rest is still UNWRITTEN...
