Leggy and Saruman? Surely not! That's quite a departure from the original plot, but I daresay the alternative will be a good one. Beautifully rendered in film, at least. I presume Orly's there to get the fangirls in, but why Saruman? I daresay they're going to flesh out the story of the fight with the Necromancer.

That's what I wondered, too, about Saruman. Well, I've not been disappointed in the other three films, so...

I'm so excited!!!!!!! Something hobbitish to look forward to *does happy dance*!!!!!!

I love all of Jackson's work apart from The Lovely Bones, so I'm looking forward to it, too. He's in his element when doing fantasy. It's what he does best.

I'm very happy with the casting...it's the waiting that's hard.

Yep. I wonder if they're going to make a revised edition of LOTR to accommodate the change in "Bilbo's" appearance?

Remember the intro scenes when Galadriel tells us about Bilbo finding the Ring? That scene.

Oh yeah...but maybe not. He'd been hanging with all those dwarves, not to mention trolls, spiders, wood elves, goblins, wolves, a wizard and doing riddles with Gollum. Any of that'd turn your toe hair grey :).
