That's what I call hair.

Now there you have some very adventurous looking dudes. How could Bilbo ignore the 'Took' in him, once they come to dinner!

That weird hairdo! Did you ever see the Special Extended Edition behind-the-scenes feature (yes, I am that thorough when I watch a DVD) where they showed us a style for Elrond's hair that was rejected in the end? They made him look like a cross between the Statue of Liberty and a daisy! Thankfully, they didn't use it in the films. You can't take anyone seriously or call them "My lord" when they look like a right pillock!

Phwoar!! Hehehehe...

I saw pix of Oin and Gloin... who look right Klingon-ish to me. Gloin even appears to have a Bat'Leth over his shoulder! :wtf:

Just guessing here, but I think a few ancient dwarves were abducted by aliens and brought to a new planet to colonize. With a lower gravitational pull they grew taller, hence the Klingon nation was formed.

*Not in the least bit Klingon, as far as I know. Okay, I fell on the keyboard.

I think you're right.

Hey, does this mean that they aren't going to wear the "special, detachable party hoods"? The colors were the only way I knew who was who :(.

It seems they're using wacky hairdos instead.

It's good that they're losing the jingly bells, though. When I first read that, I thought the Professor had ripped off Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Is it me or do some of them look like Klingons?

No I'm with you - they do look like Klingons. Except for the masonry and lusting for gold, all they need are bat'leths and prune juice ('a warrior's drink!'). I want to party with these guys :D!!!!
