Re: Doctor Who
thoughtful article with pics from episodes...states perfectly for me why I love Russell T. Davies, and tolerate Steven Moffat

Yes, the Moffatt monsters tend to be a bit silly when they're supposed to be scary. Is it bad that the Slitheen remind me of Teletubbies?

No. I have embraced my inner Tinky-Winky, and found it good

Re: Doctor Who
Since there's no chance of it airing on free tv over here, I'm thinking of buying the DVD's.... Starting with Ecclestone and Tennant, I guess, since I haven't found older ones. Any recommendations?

Re: Doctor Who
Definitely, Eccleston and Tennant, I would get those. I would also get the Paul McGann movie, because it makes a nice transition from Sylvester McCoy's 7th regeneration. Btw, have you seen this?

. He's my favorite; I think he just brings so much gravitas to the part. Matt Smith is good, too, but I think 9 and 10 for the reboot are the best, and I would get them even if I couldn't have any others.

I'm still freaked out by the Angel, I don't care how cute she is!

Re: Doctor Who
They're the only monsters that scare me on this show! *shudders*
South of us, there's a very ornate 19th cemetery that's just chock full of stone angels. I always get caught at the light halfway past it, and can't wait till it's green!
