Fish fingers and custard, though. I wonder if there's a Gallifreyan dish he particularly likes?

You know, they never go much into life on Gallifrey and every time he brings it up, I hang on every word. He's so accessible, always available to save his favorite planet but so guarded about his life.

Sexy, no?

Now you have to admit he did look good in Stetson. Come on, Candy! It was only when he moved and spoke that the illusion was totally deflated ;)!

Oh, and speaking of the headgear, I think somebody should take that gun away from River. She's educated - she should use her words more often.

He did look good in the Stetson, actually. It really suited him. Yee haw!

I think River just likes shooting stuff, to be honest.

I think she's a great character. She's brought a lot of life and mystery to the show. You keep wanting to know more about her, but when you learn something new, you're not satisfied. I thought she was going to be the Doctor's love interest. Heck, I even assumed they were married at one point!

Doesn't she know his name, or something very personal about him? I remember her whispering it to him in the Tennant Time-line, and he freaked out.

Same here! Sometimes I wonder if Doctor Who is a nickname/anagram for his actual name. (Btw, we never learned Mr. Spock's first name, so far as I know.) Inspector Morse eventually did reveal his; I must not have been that impressed because I can't remember it to save myself.

Spock claims it's unpronounceable. Anagram? Probably.

Now I don't know if I want to know or not...I did! But over the past 1/2 hour, I've been rethinking. Forty-seven years of not knowing hasn't lessened my affection for the show.

Actually, and you might find this bit interesting, my religion teaches that all the major beliefs - ones that had a book and built a civilization, such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, the Bab'i and Baha'i Faiths - were founded by Messengers who were all The Christ but born as different individuals, in different places and times. These Messengers all praise the ones who came before, and say that either they or "another like them" will return in the course of time.

I've always liked the similarity between what I believe as a Baha'i and the regenerations of the Doctor, and that if someone has dealt with him in the past, they recognize him when they see him - no matter what he looks or sounds like. Found that pretty cool.
