I loved Xena, seaQuest, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, and Darkwing Duck.

Yeah, The Avengers with Diana Rigg was good. Funny how Mr. Peel looked a lot like John Steed.

The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was good too.

Yeah, Mr. Peel was a dead ringer for Steed. No wonder Emma got a long so well with John :).

Yes, The Prisoner! Loved it all except for the last episode - it still annoys me. Btw, did you see The Simpson's parody of the show ?

Gee I'm embarrassed. There's a clip on YouTube dubbed in Italian from the episode (which is called The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes - Season 12, Episode 6) that I wanted you to see, but only if you want to. The ones in English are cropped to nothing and completely pointless, but they did get Patrick McGoohan to do his own voice on the show...

Wasn't The Avengers where Joanna Lumley got her big break as Purdey? That page-boy haircut was inflicted on me for years afterwards, but only really looked good on her.

Yep, that was it.

Among my all-time favourite TV shows are

"Mission Impossible". Loved Martin Landau and Peter Graves! :D
Due South -must have this one on DVD, no matter what...
Northern Exposure - fun to watch!
*cough*MacGyver*cough* :D
Stargate :D

And of course, I grew up with "Star Trek" and "Gunsmoke" and "Bonanza"... :D

You ought to be able to watch Due South online - if some kind soul has posted episodes on StageVU. Would you like me to look it up for you?

Thanks! I'd love to watch it online, but I've given up on it because of my DSL connection. I'm on W-LAN and the slowest DSL-connection ever (we're in a rural area and Telecom as well as the other internet providers refuse to grant us access to DSL faster then 1000 - which means, it takes ages to download things), and when I try to watch videos online, things get rocky and DSL reloads every few seconds. Last time I tried I got so unnerved I almost strangled my computer... :bang: (maybe I should strangle those guys at Telecom instead...)

But the good news is that Due South is finally available on DVD now :D Constable Fraser will be visiting my home veeery soon now :D :D

Yay! I'm glad for you, but mad at Telecom. Bunch of jerks!

Would Orange be able to supply you with internet? Assuming they have facilities in your part of the world...

No Orange here. Just German Telecom, Vodafone, Alice, 1 & 1 and a couple of others. None of them is able to provide us with the faster internet access. I've already asked every provider... I suppose the rural areas aren't of any interest to them (Telecom admits that quite bluntly). Bunch of jerks, you're right about that.

I just ordered the entire series of 'Combat'! Loved this show as a kid. Always wanted to be Sgt Saunders, then cousins and big brothers and fathers of friends and schoolmates were coming home from Vietnam in coffins and my desires changed. Still, it's a good series, and a 'season' back then went way longer than 'seasons' now.

Been enjoying the skits from 'Almost Live' on youtube. It was a local Seattle comedy that aired after Saurday Night Live on the local NBC affiliate. It ran from the mid 80's to mid 90's, and one of my favourites was 'the Legend of Billy Quan'. It was a mash of Bruce Lee meets The Three Stooges, and was a piss-take on them both. Classic stuff.

I wish they would rerun "Dark Shadows". I know it's been done, and it's out on DVD, but to see it like I used to - with commercials - would be so cool...*sigh*
