ashbow's weighty journal

Postby ashbow » Wed Dec 29, 2010 4:38 pm

I'd like to use this topic as a weight journal, to keep track off how much I lose during 2011. I'll post my starting weight, and my goal on January 3rd.

I am hoping that by posting it here, I will more apt to stick to a diet if people know I am supposed to be doing it!

comments from anyone are very welcome here!

That sounds like a plan :)! Would you like a buddy, ash? I'll list my two numbers on the 3rd, also, if you'd like someone to work this along with.

I'm glad you feel that way :D. I think I could be more successful for the same reasons you do. I'll post my stats in my own journal, and we can help each other :).

Just checked my weight and it was just a smidgen over 210 pounds. :( A bit more than I feared, but at least I know where I have to start from now.
At close to 5' 11", thaat puts me waaaay over where I should be.

I am doing good so far...I actually felt hungry a couple times this week, and that is rare, as I was always constantly snacking before.

My main goals are to avoid snacking and sitting..two things I let myself do too often.

I will weigh in tomorrow, and about once every five days after that.

Weighed in today at 204.
I am very happy with that, but I do usually lose the most in the first couple weeks. I need to keep focused and exercise when the weigh ins only show a 1 pound loss. That is when it will be difficult.

OMG! You're not? I am so sorry! I didn't know! Really - and I mean this as a compliment! You communicate so easily I just thought, my experience with guys has been...well, hush my mouth, do I feel sheepish. Please, pardon me...

Ashbow, take it as a compliment. ;)

@shireling: Ashbow (Ray) is a very sweet, thoughtful, contemplative family man whom I've had the pleasure of conversing with for about 8 years now. I know that you will enjoy getting to know him as I have. :)

That's alright shirling..I've made the same mistake a few times myself. Sometimes I see the profile picture and figure it must be them, but it turns out to be some actor or actress they like.

Mrs BB..Aw shucks...it sure has been nice knowing you too. It may even be longer than 8 years, as I remember being on Ringbearer when Joram was still the head honcho.
