I did like Jim Carey in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Truman Show, though I can't think of anything for the other two.

But as time goes I find I miss John Belushi, John Candy and Chris Farley sooooo much. Such very funny, talented guys gone way too soon.

In many aspects, Lord Of The Rings. However, if it were not for the making of this movie (of which I consider all three as one long-ass movie), I would not be where I am in life today, as I wouldn't have met my lovely wife. :bad:

Really? Though I agree - I, too, think of it as one long-ass movie because, after all, it is one book - I don't wish it hadn't been made. And I'm very happy that you met your wife as result of the films; your affection for her is very sweetly stated (though I don't think my hubby regards me like this :bad: anymore, I'm probably still  )

Anyway, in another time and place LOTR might have been shown in six parts, using the EX-DVDs instead and spread out over years. I'd have gone for that. But I'm curious, Hal, as to what your reservations are :).
