Maybe it's the times, but I don't remember people being so critical as now. Critical is my choice of word - vicious, mean, cruel, not constructive and down-right heartless is what I see. For when a person puts a pen to paper - or finger to key - to tell a tale that won't sit quiet until he's rid of it, who am I to judge the way he tells it?
I don't appreciate everything I read. Sometimes it's above my experience and I just don't understand it. That doesn't mean it's lame, it just means it's beyond me and others will see it for the beauty that was meant. Why would you put your name to a creation that you didn't do your damnedest for? Certainly, not to be mocked - or if that is the case, than the writer is ill and deserving compassion for, obviously, he knew not what he did. Not every writer craves attention. There are some who plead for it and end up being sorry they did

Other posts have stated it better than I have, that a writer writes and that's the only qualification the title needs. Good, bad, indifferent is in the brain of the beholder - writers write, and as I've said before, I'm not one. But I do admire those that do, and wish them all the best.
