 Forgive me for laughing about your prison comment, I hadn't thought. Seems to be a necessary part of the job description for an Irish political run, doesn't it? Very much like all civil rights have been...

I would be in the One (1) ‘At-Large’ category at this point. Interesting that it's mainly the border states that have their own so far.

No harm, no foul. I know it was about solidarity.

It's all calmed right down for the moment, though some troublemakers want to get the violence going again.

Politically I am drawn to anything centrist and moderate because it's wise to leg it screaming away from all extremes.

I'm in the process of thanking Senator Ron Wyden for fighting off ACTA and the other IP maximalists' treaties. If anyone wants to help with this, contact your representatives and ask them to support his motions for the JOBS act and OPEN, both of which are sensible approaches to dealing with online piracy.

The way I see it, if he's against them, he's on my side.

Ian McKellen and Stephen Fry are officially awesome!

Okay, Mr. McKellen and Mr. Fry are more awesome than they were before. But still... the Hobbit!

Very nice!!! Thanks for the update, Candy!!!

It's sad though, that some of the comments were so cynical about Fry and McKellen's motive for buying the license. Damned if you do and damned if you don't sometimes  .

Begrudgers will be begrudgers. We think they're cool and that's what matters.
