Leonard Nimoy has died.

Postby TomCotton » Fri Feb 27, 2015 6:43 pm

Leonard Nimoy dead at age 83

Sad news. I spoke with him many years ago at a book store. One of those LOTR movies was out and I mentioned the Bilbo Baggins song he recorded. Got a big laugh out of him. He was surprised anyone remembered it.

I guess there will be some kind of story arc in The Big Bang Theory too since Sheldon idolized the man.

He had a recurring part in Fringe also.

Very sad news, though not unexpected. He will be dearly missed. I'll not only remember him as Mr Spock but also for Mission Impossibly, one of my favourite tv shows when I was a kid.
He also was fine director.

Rest in peace. Mr Scott and Dr McCoy will await you and welcome you when you knock on heaven's door.

Pretty neat tribute to Leonard Nimoy by an astronaut on the ISS.

Very appropriate.

Usually I don't cry over an actor's death, but Leonard Nimoy's death has been more effecting me than I thought myself... :paperbag: :paperbag:

I did not see this Audi commercial until today. Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto, with Nimoy singing some of "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" at one point.

Very amusing ad. Fascinating :D

Indeed. Until now, I had only seen the commercial with him and Shatner.
