I remember when Sense and Sensibility came out in 1995, and the only thing I’d seen Alan Rickman in was Robin Hood. His sheriff completely terrified and fascinated me. His Colonel Brandon made me want to get married. - fyriii

I'll quit just as soon as I get this out of my system, and I see no end in sight...

Oh, sweetie! :( :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:       I think I need stronger smileys. I'm so sorry you're not better. I just stayed home 72 hours straight and medicated every time I was due until the cold stopped lifting it's ugly head (the 10% alcohol per dose didn't hurt; I was unconscious for most of it.) It may not have been what's recommended, but I'm feeling terrific today. I want the same for you so much *sigh* . Hang in there, love!

And another one. Glenn Frey of the Eagles has passend away. I'm speechless.

Thank you 2016. You already fucked it up in the first 3 weeks.Just gave me my 2nd worst birthday ever. (12 years ago on January 18th, my father died. This year, it's Frey).

Dan Haggerty aka Grizzly Adams died on 15 January. I never watched that TV show but did know about it.

Real sad news about Frey. Eagles were, and still are, a favorite band.

Thanks for posting all of these, Paddy. I appreciate them, and the Bowie ones too.

Yep, a bad year so far.
David Bowie, Glenn Frey, Keith Emerson, Merle Haggard, Prince.

(Percy Sledge died last year, but still a loss.)
