Does anyone here read these books? I've started watching True Blood and after watching a season of it I've started reading the books.

I am a massive fan of the books! Much more than the tv series.

Allegra, you'll be in for a treat with the books. Anna Paquin does an alright job in the tv series but the book Sookie is a much better character. There's a lot more depth in the books too, and some extra characters that give plenty of meat to the stories. Which book are you on? (I've read all of them, the latest I devoured in one sitting )

I'm on the first book so far. I'm looking forward to reading the other books of the set now.

you should listen to the audio books also they are incredibly entertaining, ive listened to all of them excepts for the latest which i should be getting soon. johanna parker does and incredible job narating, she is the voice of sookie. as for true blood although good its gone off on a slightly different tangent than the books, well i say slightly but the third season has really moved away from the books and out on its own. but as i said its still a really good series.

Yes the audiobooks are wonderful. Johanna Parker should read every audiobook ever. She rocks
