Just noticed that on Xmas Eve on the BBC 2 a new (and modernised) adaptation of MR James' classic ghost story "Whistle and I'll come to you" is airing starring the fabulous John Hurt. Watch it. It'll scare the pants off you.

Thanks for the tip, Withy.

I have to say that the theatrical production of A Christmas Carol is a bit scary in places. I saw one with Michael Gambon in the lead. Perfect in every way.

CANDY!!!!!! You're back!!!!! *MWAH & MASSIVE HUG*...okay, you can breathe now :).

As it turns out, I did see The Doctor Who A Christmas Carol - absolutely brilliant turn on my favorite old story, thank you very much guys!

But if you can "scare up" :D Whistle and I'll Come to You, I won't say nay. I can't remember a time I didn't know who John Hurt was, and I don't want to.

John Hurt is awesome to the max, and I'll be back in a bit. *Puts on intrepid explorer hat*
