It seemed for a while there that Vincent Price was going to make all of E A Poe's stories into movies. Those were interesting movies.

House On Haunted Hill is another good horror movie with Vincent Price. Kind of cheesey now, but when I first saw it in the early 1960s it done askeered me good. :thud:

Speaking of cheesy...Does anybody here like Plan 9 from Outer Space? I can't help it - it's so bad - though Lugosi was good, I thought. You can tell right away when it's him, he moved like a dancer in his cape.

I have, and there are tons of links available. I can dig one up for you if you like. Have you seen Ed Wood? Lugosi enjoyed the role and insisted on writing his monologue, according to the biopic.

Yes, I saw Ed Wood. I loved Martin Landau's portrayal of Bela - actually it's on later tonight and I'm taping it.

I believe that line is from The Haunting (1963) which is one of my all time favorite horror type films. I still get chills when watching that one. The remake a few years ago was completely forgettable and a waste of time.

My favorite Vincent Price movieis "Last Man on Earth"
It was the first film release of the book "I am Legend", which was later made into "Omega Man", and sadly the latest version titled after the book released a few years ago.

That says it all, really. I saw a daft haunted house film with them in it. At first it was okay, then it went all Poltergeist on us, naff special effects and all, at which point I lost interest.
